Peterson, Donald R. age 82, of Northbrook; longtime resident of Evanston, passed away September 29 in his home. Survivors include daughters Jody (Scott) Siegel of Lincolnwood, Pam (Wayne) Varney of Chicago and Susan Peterson of Evanston; grandchildren Kyle and Kelly Varney and Liz and Quin Siegel; former wife Helen Norman Peterson of Evanston; he was preceded in death by his two brothers Vernon and Raymond Peterson. To my favorite family,
I am so sorry about your Dad. He was like a Dad to me for so many years. He found my first car for me (convertible) and also helped me to learn to drive. He was the best! Please call me if you need anything!
