Beloved husband of the late June (nee Billings) and Margaret (nee Faiss), loving fiance of Jerilyn Deerfield, devoted father of Donald C. Jr. (Karilyn), Gregory L. (Kerri), Margaret and Elizabeth, cherished grandfather of Mollie, Laurel, Katherine and Jeremy, fond brother of Kenneth and the late Roy. Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Lying in state Saturday, 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church, corner of Franklin & Ela Sts., Barrington. Interment private.
