Heim, Donald P. 76, beloved husband of Maryellen (nee Mitchell), very loving father of Jacqueline Kovacs (Jeffrey Savino), Donna Vinyard, Donald Jr. (Virginia), devoted grandfather of Darlene (Daniel) Sheahan, Gabrielle (Scott) Reczek, Jessica (Javier) Rivera, Andrea Vinyard, Melissa Vinyard, Donald the third, Jamie and Matthew, great-grandfather of nine, dear brother of Marjorie Schmeski, Lorraine (James) Trainor, Carol Jardine, Richard (Jacqueline) and the late James (Carol), uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Tioga VFW Post 2149, American Legion Post 846, and past President of Teamsters Union 705. Funeral Thursday, 12:30 p.m., at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd. (at Prospect), Itasca. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 630-250-8588To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

You will be missed by your family for sure. They will all meet with you on the Rainbow Bridge.
Remember, it is not the year you were born or the year you passed on, it is the DASH between those years that means so much. You evidently made a huge impact and your DASH meant a lot to all.
