I remember Donny.
I remember when as children, he would ask us to rub his back, and he would bribe us by saying that there were pretzels involved if
we did this, so happily we rubbed his back, but as we grew up we got somewhat wiser, and he had to change the reward to cash, and
again for a while it worked, but eventually everyone grew up, married, moved away, had children and just seemed to loose touch with
one another.
Recently we had the opportunity to see each other again over the memorial service of my mother.
We were able to rekindle that family bond, as if no time had passed, it was great to see you again, and it was like old times.
But now we come to say good bye to you, Donny, and as I do so, I remember all the good times we had as children and cousins.
Until we meet again....
Be at peace Donny. You will be missed.
Carole, As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support
of family and friends.
