Rumph, Don Everett passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2004, of an apparent heart attack, at his son, Kenneth's summer home in Delavan, WI. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee Leland) on March 18, 2004. Don was born and raised in West Chicago, IL and was a 1936 graduate of West Chicago High School. Formerly Don was a Caddie Master at St. Andrews Golf Club in West Chicago. Captain U.S. Army and a decorated Bronze Star WWII D-Day Omaha Beach Veteran. Owner of Bowl-Mor (Brookfield Bowl), Brookfield, IL and West Town Bowl in Berwyn, IL. Don and Barbara raised their family in Brookfield, IL and were married for 58 years. Both retired to Bonita Beach, FL during the winter months and lived in Willowbrook during the summer months. Beloved father to Kenneth (Kristen), Douglas (and friend Julia Busta), Sandra (Glenn) Bromagen, David (Deborah) and Jeff (Margie), devoted grandfather of Ashley, Bo, Dan, Tyler, Matt, Megan, Ryan, Hayley, Rachael, Joey, Jack and Kendall Anne. Visitation Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m., at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien, IL, where funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. Interment following at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, 6900 S.
