Dolores O'Donnell of Schaumburg, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2022, at the age of 78 after a long battle with cancer and various other ailments. With her passing, she is reunited with her loving husband Frank, her father Peter Stein, her mother Anna Stein, her brother Joseph, and her sister Betty, as well as many more close family members and friends that she had lost in recent years and missed so dearly. She is survived by her son Michael, her daughter-in law Junell, her nephews Randy, Michael, and Robert, her nieces Claudia and Linda, her grandchildren Daniel, Evan, and Lena, and a whole host of other family and close friends that will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

After growing up in Chicago and graduating from Saint Scholastica High School, Dolores spent several decades working as an administrative assistant at The Larson Equipment and Furniture Company. Her magnetic and warm personality, conscientious approach to her work and personal interactions, and superior business skills earned her the respect and admiration of both co-workers and clients alike. Her performance at work, however, was far outshined by the endless love and caring she shared with her family and friends. She was a huge fan of romantic comedy movies, classic 1960s and 1970s music, hosting intimate gatherings and movie nights at her house, and adventures on the high seas aboard her favorite cruise ships. May she rest in peace, and her memory forever be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial visitation and prayer service will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, from 9 am to 1 pm at Cooney Funeral Home (located at 625 Busse Highway in Park Ridge, Illinois), immediately followed by a brief burial ceremony at All Saints Cemetery (located at 700 North River Road in Des Plaines, Illinois).
