Dolores Danahey Obituary
Dolores Marie Danahey, 89, of Westlake, OH; beloved wife of the late Roy; loving mother of Scott (Terri), Dale (Heidi), Glen (Cathy) and Troy (Linda); cherished grandmother of Brittany Priester, Taylor Tomlinson, Chelsea Sprouse, Megan Danahey, Hannah Munce, Savannah Danahey, Maddie Danahey, Brock Danahey, and Cole Danahey; great-grandmother of Scottie Priester, Ford Sprouse, Preston Priester, Townes Munce, Tiller Munce and Jax Tomlinson. Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20 in Westlake. She bravely battled dementia for the past several years while maintaining her always cheerful disposition, making her a favorite among the residents and staff at Fairmont of Westlake's Memory Care Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at: www.alz.org Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15th from 3-6:00 pm at Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16th at St. Ladislas Church 2345 Bassett Rd, Westlake, OH 44145 at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial to be held. www.buschcares.com 440.937.6175

As a child, I loved growing up next door to the Danahey's and their four sons. I will always remember Dolores as the very nice, young, pretty mom that she was. She often said my mom was her mentor. The two of them had a special bond. What a wonderful life Dolores lived!

I was fortunate enough to meet Roy and Dolores while working in Westlake for many years. They were two very kind people who spoke very highly of their family.
