Castanares RN, Dolores "Dolly" P. "Lorie", (nee Patalinghug), age 60, beloved wife of Rizalino, loving mother of Rosemarie, Daisy and Robert, devoted grandmother of Matthew and Kyle, wonderful sister of Abe, Virginia, Henry, Ludy, Vidal Jr., Carmen and Charity, fond cousin dear aunt and fantastic friend to many. A nursing graduate of Southern Islands Hospital School of Nursing, '65, and a BSN graduate of Southwestern University, '70 both located in Cebu City, Philippines. Dolly was a loyal, hardworking employee, in many capacities, at the Cook County Hospital, Chicago, in '66 and from '70 until retirement in November 2002. After retirement became a friendly service volunteer for the church and community. Visitation Saturday and Sunday, from 3 to 9 p.m., at Knollcrest Funeral Home, located at 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks. So. of Roosevelt Rd.), Lombard. Funeral Monday, 9 a.m., from the funeral home to Notre Dame Church, Clarendon Hills. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. Iworked with Dolly for many years at Cook Conty Hospital. She always kept us laughing and having a good time. I will miss her tremendously. Myself and your other co-workers loved her. We will miss her smile and jokes. So long dear friend until we meet again
