Donny & Veda,
Shirley, Kathi, and I were so sorry to hear that your mom had passed away. Please accept our sympathy. After Daddy passed away, it seems like our family lost touch with each other. I have lots of memories of coming to ILL to visit your house especially when the Sox won the pennant. Your dad was so excited. Your mom and dad will always live in our hearts.

Dear Veda and Donny,
It's so hard to lost touch with family and friends. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I have very vivid memories of being at your house when the Sox won the pennant and your dad went running out into the streets cheering. Shirley, Kathi, and I loved being around your mom and dad with all the Elko clan. Please know that we will always keep Aunt Dolly in our hearts. God bless.

Dear Veda. Hi. I know it has been a long time since we last saw each other but we went to school together at Proviso. I saw the last name and knew it had to be your mother. I just wanted to sign the guest book and let you know that I am sending you my sincerest condolensces. I lost my dad back in 1995 so I know how had this is for you.

Dear Veda:
I remember seeing you once when you were about 2 years old. I knew your mother when she was a child in Breed, Wisconsin. She lived on the farm next to my parents. I was Edith Heimerl and remember your grand parents very well. I had lost track of your mother because I couldn't remember her married name.I just happened to see the obit in the Tribune. I am sorry to hear about her demise. I am also the same age as she was. Also, Marie Schorejs who lived on another farm up there passed away 4 years ago.
My Regrets.

Dear Veda,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. Please accept my sincere sympathy. My aunt, Rose Glickley, passed away on 1/13, and I was looking for her obituary when I saw your dear mother's name. Many wonderful memories of days/nights spent at the Vitullo's came flooding back.....everything from those Italian feasts to yelling from our windows to yours to communicate with one another as kids....school, the Blackhawks, sitting on the porch, talking into the wee hours....all such great memories of growing up next door to your terrific family. I am sure you will sorely miss your mother, as I do mine each day. Please know that at this time you are in my thoughts and prayers. My warmest regards to you and Donny...
Love,
Eileen Glickley Johnson
