Dimitrios P. Yatos, 89, of Chicago, passed away December 14, 2022. Loving father of John (Kathy) Yannoulatos, Karen Yannoulatos, George Yannoulatos, Dimitrios A. (Buffy) Yatos, Despina (Daniel) Reesh; adored grandfather of Nicole, Desiree & Jessica, Antarra & Hillary, Dimitrios J., Angelyn & Antony, Gabriel & Coraline and many great-grandchildren; beloved husband of Imelda; dearest father figure to many. Dimitrios was born in Greece and came to America in the early 50s. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Design from UCLA. Better known as "Jim Jones" throughout his musical career, he brought upbeat, high-spirited and fun family life for all that he knew. He will always be remembered by his family and dear friends. Visitation, Saturday, December 17 & Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, both days at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Interment private.
