Diane Wilkowski Obituary

Wilkowski, Diane (nee Cuculich), age 60, of Lynwood, died Sunday at the William J. Riley Memorial Residence in Munster, IN, after a 10 year bout with cancer. She is survived by her son Terry (Beth) of Vernon Hills; daughter, Tammy Weidner of Florida; brothers, James (Dolores) Cuculich of Country Club Hills, Robert Cuculich of Colorado and sister Joan (Frank) Shubat and four grandchildren, Carlee, Matthew, Kathryn and Leah. Diane worked at N.I.P.S.C.O. for 22 years as a contract specialist. Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial service Saturday, May 4, 2002, 12 noon at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 301 Cottage Grove Ave., Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research or Hospice of the Calumet Area. Cremation Society of Illinois handling arrangements. 800-622-8358. Diane was a brave lady who fought her illnesses like a martyr. We shared many personal thoughts and philosophies when ever we had occasion to meet. Will miss her positive attitude.
