Having just heard of Diane's passing filled my heart with sorrow and longing for the old days we spent together at Leo Burnett when times were filled with so much laughter. It's hard to say goodbye to an old friend because her passing only tells us how delicate life really is. You were a joy to work with!

Diane - I will miss you. Your kindess helped me through some hard times. Your gift for remembering the details of people's lives amazed me. Most importantly, your love of family and friends, and your mission to stay in touch will lead me to strive to be a better daughter, sister, friend. I am grateful for the blessing of having you in my life. I pray you are at peace with all of your loved ones who went before you. You are gone far too soon. I know your love and strength will transcend to help your family and friends to cope. Look down from above and help guide your loving family and friends who will forever miss you.

I will miss my train ride home with Diane and her running me down the street to catch the train. Her thoughtfulness will be greatly missed by me. She always had a business card of someone who could help me out. Fountain of miscellaneous helpfulness is what I will miss the most. May God help you though this very difficult time.

Mike and Family, I worked with Diane at Leo Burnett when you two were still dating and you would see you both talking at lunch or break time in the IC station. I lived in Markham so at times we would run into each other after I had left and she was her usual friendly smiley self. She really was a great gal and I know you all will miss her. Linda Hofstedt and I spoke of her and what a wonderful person she was. My condolence to all of you. Rose Berens, Rolling Meadows, IL

Diane and I met over 30 years ago at Burnett and I consider her a dear friend and like another sister to me. We would usually chat on phone while she was driving home and we did just that this past Tuesday night. I'm so blessed and thankful that I will always have the memories of that conversation. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone and truly loved her family and friends with everything she had. My deepest sympathies to Michael, Stuart and Sean.

I was shocked and so sad when I heard about Diane's passing. May the Lord be with you and the family at this time. God Bless you Diane - such a great friend to me. Linda Hofstedt - Huntley, IL..
