Diane and I both married into the Darring family and became lifetime friends. Diane is a compassionate soul with a very soft heart for her Hubby, her family and friends, and the pets she loved. I will miss our regular phone conversations and the friendship that we shared. Diane possessed a genuine interest in other people and a curiosity about many aspects of life. She liked to reminisce about the past and ponder the future. She sought out the opinions of others, She sorely missed her nursing days. I truly hope that she and my husband are playing Gin Rummy up in heaven.
