Diana Lyn Ephraim, nee Dennis, formerly of Palos Heights, IL, died on September 25, 2024 in Annapolis, MD. Born September 29th, 1945, in Chicago, IL, she graduated from Calumet High School in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the south side of Chicago and married classmate Philip C. Ephraim in 1964 (divorced 1982). She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Central University, Ada, OK, and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Saint Xavier University of Evergreen Park. She taught Art in the Valley View School District until her retirement in 2008. Diana is survived by her three daughters, Patti (Nigel Sequeira) Ephraim of Baltimore, MD; Mindy (Jeff) Rosenberg of Olathe, KS, and Laurel (Keith Eberhart) Ephraim of Millersville, MD; grandchildren Gabrielle and Beatrice Sequeira and Jacob and Marni Rosenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred W. and Alice Dennis, and sister Sharon Brown Lowry. Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd, Orland Park, IL 60462, where a Funeral Service will then take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 10 AM. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation www.parkinson.org and The Chicago Lighthouse www.chicagolighthouse.org/donate/.
