I thought about you on your birthday and when i seen Sylvia at Jewel the other day. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for always making me feel like i was one of your family. I miss you,and i cant express in enough words how much some of your words stick in my head. Thanks for all the laughs,the good talks,and all the home cookin! Love the crispy tacos always! Thank you Gramma Desi. I truly love you!

IT SEEMED THAT SHE HAD A PRESENCE THAT WILL NEVER WILL BE MET BY ANY OTHER. SHE SHINED LIKE A BRIGHT STAR ON A GLOOMY NIGHT. HER KIND WORDS AND HAPPY MOODS ALWAYS KEPT THE PARTY GOING. I WILL TRULEY MISS THE GOOD TIMES THAT WE ALL HAD. HER SPIRIT WILL ALWAYS BE FELT AT THE BLOCK PARTIES.

She was our grandmother! I can't fully express how much she meant to us. We are saddened that she is no longer with us. We wish we would have visited her sooner. We learned not take each other for granted & to remind those we love, how much they mean to us. We miss you and will always remember grandma.

Thank you everyone for your condolences and love on this guest book. I know my Grandma is in Heaven looking after us and enjoying all that she loved with all her loved ones who have passed. I miss her all the time and not a day has gone by when I dont wake up not thinking of her...just as a night doesnt pass that I dont fall asleep thinking of her. She was the strongest, greatest woman who has ever been in my life and I just hope to keep on her traditions and with that her spirit. I remember Desi as a wonderful person. The last time I saw Desi was in 2005 at Candice's Furneral when she didn't have a ride I took her in my car and she sat next to me. I will always remember that beautiful lady.

Condolences to the Martin Family. Mrs. Martin was a wonderful neighbor and friend to my Aunt Helen. Hopefully, they are both together in heaven renewing their friendship.

Memories rushed back when I heard the news. So many Saturday evenings growing up we would spend with Tia Desi and the cousins. She was always so full of life, ready to dance and have a great time. She always helped ease those tough conversations around my mother. All the memories are what I keep with me as I go thorugh the grieving process. My cousins I will be there at your side for the wake and always available when you need me. Stay strong and smile facing Heaven because she is smiling down on us :-)
