Dennis Rezmer Obituary
Dennis F. Rezmer, age 80, a U.S. Army Veteran who traveled the World, passed away peacefully Friday, August 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Florence Ecklund and his loving, caring Sister, Shirley M. Klobnack. He is survived by his devoted nieces, Roberta (George) Wilson and Stacy (Jenny) Stoldt-Seat.
After the Army, Dennis became a Licensed Engineer of Stationary Steam Engines, Boilers and Steam Generating Apparatus for the City of Chicago. Later in years he opened his own antiques store and he also ran a handy man shop and snow plow business until he retired.
He was an avid reader, as well as having an astute interest in art, photography and jazz. He loved sports, Westerns and films.
Dennis developed a strong network of lifelong friends who knew Dennis even better than his own family.
A memorial will be held on August 18, 2023 at White Eagle, 6839 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm.
