Mr. McQuaid - I always thought I'd run into you again at Kelly's grave only to find out through Sean, last week, that you passed years ago. I'll keep visiting her grave every time I'm in town and say a prayer for you now, as well. You were always kind to me and I appreciated that as a young man that was dating your daughter in high school. Rest easy, give Kelly a hug from me.

Dennis you were such a gentleman and a pleasure to know. You will be missed. Your son is a chip off the old block. The short time I spent with him I felt your same warmth and kindness. God Bless

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay.
So continue on your journey,
Don't be afraid to go,
We'll be along one day,
Sooner than you know.
I'm glad you were not only my friend but also my adopted "Dad". I will greatly miss you. Give my ma & all my critters a hug.

Dennis,
You showed us how to become a loving father and a good friend by living it out for us day in and day out. You will continue to live in our hearts and your example to us will never be forgotten. Thank You.

You instilled these words into my brothers lives - and many others as well.. You were a role model and inspiration to many more men than you probably ever imagined..I grew up thinking Family Camp at Owasippe was EVERYONES family vacation!! So many memories to cherish and such a part of my youth both you and your family were.. Hoping the memories of you will remain alive in every heart you've ever touched in your life.. Sean - find comfort in knowing how many lives your dad has touched - and he will be remembered fondly.. no more suffering for one of this earths greatest men :)

Dennis will be missed by so many, not only by his wonderful family but also by his phone company family. I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with him for several years. He had the best sense of humor, always kept a positive attitude and never complained. Dennis fought hard and now its time for him to rest in peace. (sorry you didn't have a chance to do the Bucket List you talked about). May God bless Dennis and his family always.

Dennis,
You were a very remarkable man. I admired the way you were so friendly, positive and upbeat. When you told us the cancer came back again, I knew that if attitude alone could help you be victorious over the disease, that you would win hands down. Apparently God decided he needed you to be with Him.
May you be forever at peace.

"Softly falls the light of day,
As our campfire fades away,
Silently each scout should ask,
Have I done my daily task.
Have I kept my honor bright,
Can I guiltless sleep tonight,
Have I done, and have I dared,
Everything to be prepared"
Dennis,
You were an inspiration in my life and the lives of many young men in scouting. You will be missed dearly. May your trails be long and many as you explore the heavens like you explored the many trails of scout camps you love so..

My cousin, too cool to be gone. With our cousins Nancy and Susan we were the family's "Fab Four" before the Beattles. All born the same year. Last time I remember all being together was our graduation from High School. One cake, four kids. I cherish the memories of a man I knew as a kid. He was my cousin and I miss him. My prayers tohis brother and family. Mike

It's not good-bye my dear friend, it's so-long, you were only three days older than me, you used to call me "KID" because of our great age difference. I will miss the jokes and laughter we had over the years.
