Joanna and family,
I was so deeply sorry about your loss. I just heard yesterday and my heart hurts for you. Unfortunately, I know first hand how rotten cancer can be.
I'll never forget our memorable time together in Paris. Your mom was so fun with that little dog and those yummy croissants.
Joanna,
Even though it's been a long time since I've been your teacher, I will always hold a special spot for you in my heart. I am here to support you in any way that I can.
Please stay in touch. Love, Laurie (Mrs. Kotzen Miller)

Dear Eric,
We were very sorry to learn about the tragedy in your family.
I very well remember the trips we made together when you were all based out here. Many times we talked about the importance of the support of the family when we were both far away from home. May the good memories help you and your family to carry this big loss.

Mark and family: I am so sorry for your loss. You were all so strong throughout the difficult last months, as was your mother and wife. I can not truly grasp what you are going through, but if there is anything I may do for your family at any time, I am here for you. My thoughts are with you always.

Deb's passing is a profound loss to her family, friends, and community. Throughout her valiant fight, she, her husband, and their children never surrendered their love, courage and, above all, grace.
She lives on in the wonderful children she and her husband Eric have raised, and in all the memories we have of her. Eric, Joanna, and Mark, she will never be forgotten.
