I didn't know Dave all that well, but what I knew about him I sure liked. He was the best neighbor I ever had. I am so shocked and deeply saddened by the news. I will remember Dave fondly, as a friendly and genuine man, which is a real testament to his parents for rasing such a warm and lovely man. Although his time here was not long please know his impact was great, and ultimately that is what we all hope for.

I used to work with Dave. After I left last year we still remained in contact although not as often as we should have. My wife and I have been talking about Dave a lot over the past couple of days, he was one of the people who we wanted to be better friends with because he was such an outstanding person. We will miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

May God bless you Dave.

To my Dear Friends.Jerry and Linda Zielinski. A little story about dave. When we first met it was at AK speicality Trailers. Me and dave hit it off and became very good friends. We talked about almost every thing. Computers, Starwars. and the renfaire. He wanted so much to be a pirate. So I said OK. But first u have to speak like a pirate. So for weeks on end I had dave walking around Saying... Arrrrrrrrr!!! It was so funny. or where's me booty. or X marks the spot. And Of course There be wenchs.(women)The first time he came dressed to the faire,Was so funny. Dressed in Yellow Pirate shirt, and like a dark yellow trousers. I had to take a second look! MY GOD! it's a walking talking Pirate Big BIRD...We laughed so hard. teased him all day.People would ask me ? where is your Parrot? I would turn my head and look at dave, and then say if u can get this bird on ur shoulder , then i will try too.. We laughed so hard on that one.as time went on dave soon started to build his pirate cloths to what he was today. A fine Pirate and a Gentlemen of a pirate he was after all he learned from me . Taught him wenching, pillageing, and to talk like a pirate. will miss his hands on his waist and his arms sticking out. and walking around saying Arrrrrrrr! A man,a Pirate.and a best friend that would be there when u asked. He stood tall to the very end. And Now when I ride I ride with dave and for dave. He is my motorcycle angle.. Thank u dave for all ur surport.and mostly ur friendship. You will always be with me. Forever..My Pirate . My Friend...

We heard David's name mentioned at Mass Easter Sunday at OLMC (12:30 Mass). We were all there, including your David's best friend from 1st and 2nd grade, our David. All of us recognized the name, but thought "It couldn't possibly be the David we know!" Yesterday we found out we were wrong. We are all in a state of shock and are grieving for you at such a senseless loss. We investigated and found that our Davids were leading similar lives -- love of motorcycles, unmarried, etc. They were two peas in a pod at ages 6 and 7. I guess they still were recently, but separately.

We have such fond memories of him and of you. Our hearts are BREAKING for you.

In Sincere Sympathy,

Art, Terri and David Sagan

I remember several years ago when David would entertain me while our parents were visiting with each other. He was four years older than I was, so I thought just about everything he did was the coolest. He introduced me to the wonderful world of Atari, and I remember him being able to quote George Carlin at length at the tender age of 10 - which I thought was hilarious. He was always very smart and clever, and that really impressed me.

Dear Jerry and Lin,

I just received word on the loss of your son David. I am truly saddened and heartbroken for both of you. I believe we met David once in church over the holidays. I recall the beautiful smile on his face. I will share this news with Elizabeth. We will pray for David and for the two of you that you find strength and hope in knowing there are others who are thinking of you during this difficult time.

Dave is going to be missed greatly. He was such an important part of our lives. He was a wonderful friend and a great, kind-hearted, selfless man. Summer's won't be the same without him at grill-outs, and trips to the Ren Faire will be bitter-sweet. Oh Dave, we all miss you and love you!
