David Visk Obituary
David A. Visk, 68, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Lyons, IL passed away on October 3, 2022. Dave attended Morton West HS and went on to work for Mazur & Son Construction for 49 years. He served as Mayor of Lyons from 1997-2001 and 2005-2009. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his family. His kindhearted spirit helped and touched all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Michelle, his children, Julie (Tom) Douglas, JoAnne (Shaun) Sloan, David (Dre) Visk, his grandchildren, Brody & Shane Sloan, his siblings, Linda Philippon, Bill (Pete), Tim (Lynn), Ken, Judy (Jeff) Novak, as well as many others whom he loved dearly.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Cletus, 600 W. 55th St, LaGrange, IL on November 4, 2022, at 10am.

We were so saddened to hear of Dave's death. We so much enjoyed working with him during the construction of our parish center at Old St. Mary's Church in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago. God bless Dave, his family, friends, and all the Mazur family.

Dave was a Superintendent for Mazur and Son Construction and I worked as Head Forman for a subcontractor from Oquendo Construction. 90% of the jobs we did fo them were run by Dave. Always knew the job would go good with him there. As I retired 12 years ago an our last few jobs were run by another super I haven't seen him for probably 15 years. Friendly, funny and the biggest guy on the jobsite.
My very best to the family, I will miss him.
