David Tuttle Obituary

Tuttle, David Anthony 'Tony' Age 53, of Friendship, WI (formerly of Aurora, IL) passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the UW-Madison Hospital from cardiac arrest due to complications from multiple illnesses that could no longer be combatted. There will be a celebration of life held Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 4-7pm at Little Ole's in Arkdale, WI. Tony was born to David and Dawn (Tope) Tuttle on October 26, 1963 in Aurora, Illinois. He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1983, with many academic and athletic achievements. After attending Winona State University, he then returned to Illinois to eventually begin his career with AT&T, which then became Lucent Technologies, in Naperville, IL. He was a career employee until the company downsized its domestic workforce in favor of international labor. Alongside his work, Tony was very well known to be active in the Aurora youth baseball scene. He coached and mentored many young men throughout his time, and he loved every minute of it. He then moved to Friendship, WI in 2002 and opened Little Ole's, which he owned and operated until the time of his death. Tony quickly established Little Ole's as a diverse place of business that everyone in their own way could enjoy. There have been thousands of memories made by employees and customers alike within the confines of Little Ole's; nearly everyone who ever walked in, walked out with a story. After a 15-year run at Little Ole's, Tony was attempting to get out of the bar scene to enjoy a simpler life. He chose the next chapter of his life to be with the United States Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier, a job which he enjoyed almost as much as the people he worked with. Tony made the most out of his 53 years on this earth, and the family has taken comfort in that. Tony was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Tuttle; his mother, Dawn Marie (Tuttle) Pennington; grandmother, Rose Marie Tope; and aunt, Penelope (PenDol) Scott. Tony is survived by his son, Trevor Tuttle of Adams, WI; brother, Tim (Carole) Tuttle of Aurora, IL; sister, Tia (Jeff) Dumdie of Aurora, IL; step-father, Jack Pennington; great-aunt, Beverly (Robert) Ulvenes; niece, Stephanie Johnson of Cortland, IL; nephews, Thomas Dumdie of Aurora IL, Anthony (Michelle) Fischer of San Diego, CA, Andrew (Samantha Solis) Fischer of San Diego, CA and Chris Bauer of Little Canada, MN; great-nephew, Trenton Norris of Cortland, IL; great-nieces, Trinity, Divinity, Serenity and Addison of San Diego, CA; and many aunts and uncle. Ecclesiastes 3:13: "Also so that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toilthis is God's gift to man." In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to his son, Trevor, at www.gofundme.com/trevor-tuttle.
