David Strouse Obituary

David R. Strouse, age 49. of Almont, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. He was born February 8, 1961, in Almont, the son of Donald and Marie (Kraus) Strouse. He graduated from Eisenhower High School and served four years in the United States Army. He had worked at Bob's Masonry, Michigan Fence, then for Riteway Fence of Sterling Heights. He married Vicki Sivec in Detroit in 1990 and; together they moved to Almont in 1995. He was a member of the Labor's Union. David loved anything to with the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and his yard. He also loved being with his son, watching him play football and playing games. He is survived by his mother Marie Strouse, his wife Vicki and one son, Ben Strouse. Also surviving are his siblings, Donna (Carl) Holcomb, Karen (Steve) Fiori, Dean (Nora) Strouse, Debbie (Al) Cook, Chris Strouse, Annie Strouse, Carol Stewart and Chuck Strouse; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Brian, Brent, Denise, Beth, Justin; Jessica, Jennifer, Jason, Corey, Andrew, Jeremy, Kyle, Katie, Kody, Brandy, Devin, Dayton, Tyler and Joshua. Great-nieces and nephews, Emily, Megan, Alex, Lauren, Maya, McKenna, Jack, Jacob, Max, Kaylin, Ella, Alexa, Madison, Ethan, Nolan, Austin, Alex, Elana and Austin. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and one brother, Billy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010, from 2-8 p.m. with funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont with Reverend Dianna Rees of West Berlin United Methodist Church officiating.
