David Steik Obituary
Beloved husband to the late Lois Frankie (Gingerich). The most loving and gracious father to Nancy (Ernie) Rossi, Susan (Mark) Tarman, Kathy (Anthony) Falco and Scott Steik. The best grandfather to Michael J., Michael A. (Ashley), Nancy, Christopher, Matthew, Timothy, John, Elizabeth, James, William, Annaliese, and extremely great grandfather to Chloe. Brother to the late Laurence and Nancy, and son to the late Charles and Elaine (Robinson). David was the owner and operator of C. Steik & Son Printers in River Grove, IL. David was a devoted Catholic and served as a Sunday school principal and deacon for many years. He had a green thumb and spent as much time possible gardening, even earning landscaping awards from the village of Franklin Park. He retired and attained his lifelong dream when he moved to Arizona in April 2020. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Lung Association.

Dearest Dad,
I just wanted to tell you again how much I love you. I know you are with Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Laurie, Uncle Pete and Aunt Peg and many more and they will help us to keep your spirit alive as we do for all of them. You have touched so many lives so I know that you will be remembered by so many family and friends. I miss you so much and am really having a difficult time saying goodbye. So for now I will just say, be happy. You are with God now and your soul will forever be with us. Love you, Kate.
