Dear Parcell Family,
On behalf of Camp WIKIDAS, I wish to express my deep sorrow and sympathy on David's passing. I indeed do remember him at asthma camp. He was always a great kid to be around, and I know the other campers and our medical staff thought very highly of David. In fact, I mentioned his passing to my nurse today, and she had clear fond memories of reviewing "proper inhaler use" with David during a tractor ride around Camp. I can only imagine the sadness you are feeling at this time.
Your desire for donations to go to WIKIDAS at the Amer Lung Assn of Wis is very moving, and thoughtful. Please know that this generosity will help many other children take advantage of this special facility.
Again, my sympathies to you all at this difficult time.
Warm Regards, J. Brent Kooistra MD, Founder and Medical Director, Camp WIKIDAS

Thinking about the entire family and best wishes for each member.
Thinking about the many many years of meaningful interaction, and the good times and the great experiences I have had with so many of you. It has been important, and it has meant a lot.
May we all carry on in that spirit, even in the face of this tragedy.

David, We traveled. We saw a LOT. We had many adventures. We shared many moments in life that I considered lucky. I know now that what was lucky was all the time I got to spend with you. Every moment was special, and every journey we took was always done because you were going to take the ride with me. From Bottle rockets in Denver with toad, to kegs on St. Patty's in Philly. We braved a winter storm in the North & cooked a turkey under a car, (thank mom) and got back in time for work. The whole time never missing a show. Saw the Packers go to the superbowl in GB and many a Ducks game on the tube. The west was the best with you as Oakland, San Diego and Eugene were life changing moments in time. Cooking Dinners at your place, and recording by candle light in Wow hall cannot be forgotten. But what I will never forget was your laugh. I cannot forget how you laughed. I will never forget. To all the parcell family I love you and will never forget your son and what he meant to me.
Love

Dear all of the Parcell family,
Words cannot express the feelings of such a loss by so many, with David departing our heavenly earth at this time. David was always a kind and friendly person, and a special member of such a wonderful and loving family. May all your family find some comfort in remembering David in so many good ways, with the support of so many close friends dear to you. Many blessings for David and the Parcells.
