David Fleming Obituary

Fleming Sr., David Howard (1948-2016) Was the youngest of 7 children born to Ray Scipio Fleming and Mattie Morgan Fleming, longtime residents of Chicago. He was a graduate of Betsy Ross Elementary, Tilden Technical High School, and Howard University. He was a Captain in the Army when he left the service to pursue private sector life. He is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Arnicia (Brian) and David Jr.; sisters, Lena Robinson, Delores Pelt, Mattie Rae Peoples; brother, Alphonzo; grandchildren, Sophie and Raef, and many nieces and nephews. Brother to the late Ray Jr. and the late Della Rose Cobb. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 6 at Leak & Sons Funeral Home, 7838 South Cottage Grove. 1:30 interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
