Dave Coady was a true gentleman, a quiet giant. From his service in the Army in Vietnam to his career on the Chicago Police Dept as wagon man extraordinaire, Dave was 'always there' to serve and protect. Having survived both his military and law enforcement careers, his most respected act of bravery was being a Cubs fan in Canaryville. Rest in peace our brother, your work here is done. May God now embrace you in His open arms for your ultimate, "Welcome Home."

To the Coady family,
David was a great guy, veteran, with a good sense of humor. I know he will be missed, but when you look into sky tonight, you'll notice it a little brighter, as a new "star" has been added to the heavens above.
