Dear Tracy and Steve,
I learned of your mother's death today when I went to the Crisis Center. I'm sorry that I missed the opportunity to express my sympathy in person. I have spoken to your mom on several occasions in the past few month and she remained optimistic and never complained about her illness. She was a compassionate advocate of women who struggled. May she rest in peace!

I remember Darlene from L-W band days...she was always so friendly and talkative. I have fond memories of "band days", and Darlene's presence and hard work will always be appreciated. Her family has my sympathy.
