When I first met Dan he told me about meeting his relatives in Nenagh Ireland and how when they first met he was greeted with "Welcome home". Dan I know now that you are truly home.

To the Family of Dan Keogh:
I was on my way home from my mother's this evening, when I passed IHM and saw the "Rest in Peace" notice for "DJ." During my freshman and sophmore years at Trinity H.S., he was my mentor, my devoted friend, and my inspiration. He helped me through some very difficult times. I kept in touch with him at different points over the years...the last time I saw him was at IHM in around 1985. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all of you. You have my deepest sympathies!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Danny Keogh. We became best of friends in first grade at HOC. He's the reason I took Irish dance lessons and learned to play the piano. Years later, he taught my two sisters at Trinity High School. I'm sure he will be missed by all.

Parents always have concerns when they send their children off in those ever increasing orbits from the home, but once I met Dan Keogh I knew my daughter was in good hands.
Thanks Dan and we will miss you.

My deepest sympathy to Danny's family. We went to Our Lady Help Of Christians school together. The last time I saw Dan was at our reunion in 1981. We all had a great time, sharing memories of Burke and Sullivan, Sunnie Kiddie Shoe store and other Chicago avenue spots. Dan will be missed by all.

To say that Mr. Keogh's death is devastating is a complete understatement. If there was ever one person who challenged my mind and what I believed in, it would be him. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Keogh was a wonderful man & teacher and will be sadly missed. He taught me many things that helped me through life and for that, I am greatful to him. He was one of my favorites. In fact, my sister & I had mentioned him a few weeks ago about how he had made an impact in our lives. My prayers go to him and his family.

To Danny's Sisters and Family Members
I have such wonderful memories of our dancing days together. He was a member of the "dream team" back in the late 50's. Oh what a pair of "perfect dancing feet" according to "steppin' Paddy". He has often been in our thoughts and many wonderful conversations over the years as old friends reminisced about the "good old dancing days". One thing I will always be reminded of when I think of Danny is his great sense of humor and infectious laugh. My brother Patrick, Danny, the O'Connor boys, and myself received a "few" reprimands over these qualities.
We have been so sorry to hear about Danny's passing. On behalf of our entire family, Dad & Mom, Kaki, Mary, Patrick, John, Kevin, Colette, Michael and myself (Peggy) please extend to all your family our sincere condolences. We all had great memories of Danny, his mom and sisters and the wonderful times above Burke& Sullivan. And let's not forget the back of Howell's Restaurant at Cicero & Madison at the wee hours of the morning. I would love to hear from Shelly and Kay.
