Mitch, Steve and Pat,

I was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Dan. I have such fond memories of all us "Northbrook East" families. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Patty and Mitch, although I met Dan in a business capacity, he quickly developed into a friend. I always loved coming to the store to see him - and even after my time as his sales rep came to a close, we stayed in touch. You all made me feel like a part of the family when I was there, and my sorrow at your loss is tremendous. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was extremely sad to hear about Dan's passing. He was a wonderfully kind, fun, caring person and he will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I was extremely sorry to hear about the passing of Dan. I have fond memories of him as a young boy as the family were neighbors of ours in Northbrook East. Dan was a classmate of my children as they attended what was then Oaklane School. Though I never knew him as an adult, I remember him as such a creative and joyful person and very devoted to his family. I am certain that these qualities are among those for which he will be remembered. My most sincere condolences to the surviving family members. It is my hope that they will be comforted by pleasant memories.

Dan was a great guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hirsch Family.

My brothers and I have known Dan since high school and are greatly saddened by his passing. Dan was a super nice guy and always had a smile to cheer you up. Our sympathy to Pat, Steve, Mitch and family.

I'm happy to have been a customer of Dan's. Always cool to talk to and deal with over the years. Gonna miss him a lot. Thank you for everything, Dan.

Dan was one of my first true friends and we had a lot of fun together growing up in Northbrook east. I will always remember his great smile,sense of humor, and piano playing. He was a great guy, and I will cherish my memories of him forever.

I knew Dan in high school. He was always so nice to me and always had a smile for me. That's what I remember most about him. His smile. My prayers are with his friends and family.

A family is a unit that implies bloodlines but Dan had a way of making those he met and favored feel they were family.



There was a gentle quality that hid his strength and a smile that hid his sorrow.



May your times together divide the sorrow you now feel and may you gain strength from each other as you rally your family to mend the hurt of the loss of Dan.

I have known Dan since High School and he was a great friend for many years after. I am truly glad to have known him. My sympathies to Patricia, Mitch and Steve.

We still can't believe he is gone. We are so sad and we will miss him very much.

Dan was a fine, kind, loving person.When he was in his late teens, early twenties, he would practice with "the band" every week at our home. He was always welcome. Our sympathy goes out to his family and many friends.He will be greatly missed.
