To Dans family, please know that Dan was a great friend, even long after I left Chicago and came home to Boston Dan was still there for me like he was the first day I met him. He came off like a bear when you met him, but you had to stick around long enough to know he was a Chicago cubby! He never made it to see the Maine coast or Fenway park, but we know now, he can see it all..... We had allot of laughs and great times, my Dad got to meet Dan on a trip back years ago and even my Dad thought Dan was the best, even though Dan dragged him onto the big fast yellow boat at Navy pier!!!! I will miss his laughter and friendship, I will miss the phone calls and messages where we would kick the stuffing out of each other and joke about our first year at Guildhaus and all the characters we hung out with, maybe this year will be the Cubs year and Dan may have a hand in it!!! Till we meet again Dan H, rest easy my friend.....rest easy.
