Damian McKenna, 66, passed away May 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Maureen Jennings. Devoted son of Bridget and the late George McKenna. Loving brother of the late Eamon (Debbie) McKenna, Maire (Larry) Devereux, Yvonne (John) Daly. Fond uncle of many. Damian will be dearly missed by many family and friends here and in Ireland. Longtime member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 399. Visitation Wednesday, 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect. Visitation Thursday, 9:00 A.M. until Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St., Mount Prospect. Interment All Saints Cemetery. I'm sorry for your loss, Maureen.
Damian was a great person who always had good things to say to me, always offering congratulatory
words when you and he would sit behind us after you'd finished your games. A kind soul.
He will be missed by all of us.
Regrettably, I'm flying down to drive Kayla back from North Carolina Wednesday at 2 and will miss the wake and funeral.
You and Maire and Larry are in our prayers.
