Dale Priban Obituary

Recently, while visiting the Chicago area, I learned of Dale´s death. We were good friends from Havlicek elementary school, Lincoln junior high, Boy Scouts, and although we went to separate high schools, we hung around around during those years. After high school he went to college, I went into the military. We stayed friends for a while then after many years we lost touch. He and I had many, many laughs together. I knew his mom, Lorraine, and dad, Martin, as well as his aunt Edna and uncle Charlie quite well. I often had dinner with the family.
While in elementary and junior high school we often went to the Saturday double features at one of the local movie houses. During high school we often double dated with our girlfriends. As Boy Scouts we went on many camping trips with Troop 40. I will always remember the fun times we had together. I´m sorry he´s gone.

Majorly nice guy. He and I were friends in college at SIU. Just friends. I remember he collected beer cans loved sci fi movies and loved Bruce Lee movies. He visited me in Miami once on a trip he was taking and we saw something very very strange over Biscayne Bay. I wanted to talk to him about that but I guess that conversation will have to be put on hold. So sad that he went way too soon and that cancer took him.
