Daisy Balcher Obituary

Balcher, Daisy Krassner age 96, died peacefully after saying goodbye to her two daughters and son-in-law, Darilyn Goffman and Arden and Ron Taubman, and granddaughters, Liana Goffman, Stephanie Mullin, and Jennifer Vilte, she is also survived by her granddaughter and son-in-law, Shana and John Tighi, sons-in-law, Keith Mullin and Christian Vilte, and great-grandchildren Justin, Shannon, Madeleine, and Noelle, plus her extended family and many friends. In her youth, Daisy performed in Vaudeville as the youngest member of the La Rae Sisters, and was a dance teacher for children, in Chicago, at the Krassner School of Dramatic Art and Dancing, a studio she shared with three of her seven sisters. She also taught dance and established a Junior Theatrical Workshop with her sister, Lila, in Los Angeles and Hollywood after moving to California. She graduated John Marshall High School and attended the Art Institute of Chicago where she enriched her painting and ceramic skills that she enjoyed throughout her life. Daisy was a very creative, energetic and generous spirit who will live, with love, in our hearts and memories forever. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Hollywood at 2:00 p.m.  For information call 800-600-0076
