Cynthia Vosicky Obituary
Cynthia E. Vosicky McCrossin, nee, Cox, passed away peacefully at home, loving mother of John (Kathi) Vosicky, Amy (Kevin) Carney and Jill (Michael) Ferrara; adoring grandmother of John, Peter, Ryan, Sean, Emma, Kate, Charlie, James, and Nora; beloved sister of Cathy Klasek and William (Donna) Cox; dear aunt of Nicole (Matt) Budreau and Meghan Cox; cherished daughter of the late Patricia, nee Hayward and the late William Cox. Cindy was a native of Westchester, IL, graduate of Divine Infant Grade School, Immaculate Heart of Mary High School and St. Theresa's College. After college she became a flight attendant for United Airlines before raising her three children in Elmhurst, where she was an active member of Visitation Parish. Cindy was blessed in life with loving and caring friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road (½ Mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Road (at Madison), Elmhurst. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside. Livestream of funeral Mass available through funeral home website.
