Collette was such a loving person. What a blessing for me to have her as my special friend all through our whole lives.

I was so sorry to about Collette's passing. My mom Sophie was very fond of her. They have been great friends. It will be an adjustment for my mom to lose a wonderful person in her life. We went to see Collette at Rest Haven along with my 2 year old twins. She still had a spark in her. We were shocked when we got the news. Prayers are with the family.

My condolences to the Danz family.I will always have a lot of fond memories going to the Danz home. The Garcia family mourns your loss.Mrs. Danz gave me a prayer card on the day K.C. and I went to the prom because we rented a car and was very worried something would happen to us.I carried that prayer card to Vietnam and back 37 years ago. To this day i know in my heart it helped me come home. Our loss is the Lords gain because now HE recieves an Angel to sit at HIS side.I will never forget you Mrs.Danz you will always be in my heart.

My thoughts are with all of you!
I too was one of those neighborhood kids who always felt like Mrs. Danz was my "second" Mom. She was such a soft spoken and beautiful person and always there for any of us. I have so many wonderful memories of her and especially for the many PB & J sandwiches, letting me use the "Danz Piano" to practice and hanging in the basement, yard or the infamous front porch.
To all of you, Mr. Danz, Mary, K.C., Rita, Dorothy, Tommy, Theresa, Barb and Anita & your families, I'm thankful to have known her and to have had all of you in my life! Love Always, Jeanny Shotas
PS:
I know if Bob(by) weren't in Canada at this time, he would feel much the same way and send his best to all of you!

sorry to hear about your loss. i will always remember spending many summer days on the danz's front porch playing different games and just hanging out. your mother was always very nice and i cant say that i ever heard her get mad at any of her kids or any of the neighborhood kids. she was a much better parent than i am.
