Claudia Grimaldi Obituary

Grimaldi, Claudia 81, of Hebron, quietly passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. She was born in Chicago on October 31, 1926, to Sabino and Frances (Partipilo) DeNicolo. She married Santo Grimaldi on September 1, 1946, in Melrose Park. Claudia and her husband were residents of Melbourne Beach, FL, before recently moving in with her daughter in Hebron. She is survived by her husband of 62 wonderful years, Santo of Hebron, one son, Jon Joseph (Kay) Grimaldi, five daughters, Sandra (Paul) Gammel, Meri (Ron) Lauterbach, Claudia Dunne, Louanne (Alan) Brown and Laura Grimaldi, also nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister. Her Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2008, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 2 p.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock, IL, 60098. Bishop Timothy J. Lyne will officiate. Burial will be at Linn-Hebron Cemetery in Hebron. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Seasons Hospice, 606 Potter Rd., Des Plaines, IL, 60016.
