Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Borst), loving father of Wayne (Peg), Paul (Betty), Gary (Mary), Brian (Geri) and the late Susan Merrick-Moirano, dear grandfather of Jeni (Pat) Mooney, Jeff, Matt, Adam, Theresa (fiance Mike Kettwig), Brian J. Wagner, Sara and Aron Merrick, great-grandfather of Kylie and Breann Mooney, devoted brother of Helen Housman, also nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 10 a.m. until time of service 1 p.m., at Modell Funeral Home, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
