Clarence Serafiniak Obituary
Serafiniak, Clarence J. age 78, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006, of Romeoville, for 12 years formerly of Stickney for 40 years. Clarence was a rate clerk for Con Rail in Chicago. A veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his loving family; his wife, Jean (nee Yanchuk) Serafiniak; four children, Debbie (late Rick) Bornheim, Lynn Royal, Cathy Elisher and Scott (Kathy) Serafiniak; a sister, Louise (late Edward) Sadjak; sister-in-law, Ellen (late John) Ross; 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence (nee Grabowski) Serafiniak. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2006, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville, IL 60446. Funeral service Thursday, August 3, 2006, at 9:30 a.m., leaving for St. Andrew Church in Romeoville for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, in Stickney IL 815-886-2323.
