So many years later, I remember my friend Clare from our time in band at Joliet West. He was our drum major and first chair clarinet and exemplified the pride that our band members had in 1965/66. He and I both won the Sousa Award in our respective junior high schools and then jointly won the Sousa Award at Joliet West Hign School. He was agreat soul and I was lucky to know him.

Dr. Clare Giegerich was a great Physician and a great man.I was extremely blessed to have him as my doctor in my time of need. Upon hearing of his passing I was left with a big hole in my heart. Feeling that he was busy, I didn't want to disturb him when I heard he was retiring. I truly wish I had followed my heart.

God Bless you Dr. Clare, My Doctor, My Friend for the rest of my life!

To the Family of Dr. Clare Giegerich
May God continue to stand by the family and bless them with all His blessing.

My belated condolence to the family. He was my Doctor from 1985 till he retired and it was always a pleasure having him diagnois and correct my orthopaedic problems.
He wished me the best in moving to Florida.
He was a great doctor and has been missed by me since he retired.

My sincere condolences to Clare's family. I grew up on the same street as Clare did in Joliet. We were playmates, schoolmates and band members together. Always got along with him and never had a disagreement. We loved to play in the woods by his house. I saw Joan's obituary and saw that Clair had passed away. I was shocked. My house was the only one of the neighborhood that wasn't taken by Hwy I-80. Clair moved and went to Joliet West and I went to Joliet East. I am saddened by this news. I know he will be deeply missed.

I had the blessing of working with Dr. Giegerich at NCO. He was always so approachable and we exchanged conversation on music, sports, current events, but mostly family. His eyes lit up when he spoke of his family...he was full of love. He was also always willing to help others in a heart beat. He will be remembered dearly. What a wonderful legacy he left here on Earth.

I was an employee at Northwestern Center for Orthopedic. I remember when I first met Dr. Geigerich. He walked by PERFECTLY whistling a happy tune. He never failed to stop to greet me.
Later I was moved next to where his work station was. It afforded me an opportunity to get to know him better. This I know: his patients loved and trusted him, his employees respected him and found him to be friendly and approachable, and he absolutely LOVED his family. I am so saddened at the passing of such a wonderful person. RIP Dr. Geigerich...you will be missed!
