Dear Amy and Scott,

I was so sorry to hear that your mother had been ill, and now she too has lost her battle. After feeling sadness, I couldn't help but think of all the Real Estate transactions that would be going on wherever both of our moms are now. Unfortunately, I know all to intimately the pain and rawness that you are feeling. While sitting Shiva for my mom, all of us were also concerned for yours.
Warmly,
Heidi Hillman Tyson

Dear Richard,

I just heard the sad news of Claire's passing. She left her imprint with everyone she touched in life. Going back many years, at the Art Center, I looked forward to having a conversation with Claire when she attended class, and also our brief social life together, short as it was.

My sincerest wishes and prayers are with you and the family as you grieve your loss. I'm sorry to be so far away at this time.

Dear Richard and Family,

Jim and I just returned from Claire's service and were both so moved. As with her life, it was very inspiring. I met Claire through Joan, but she and I had our own moments over the years--on the Art Center board and a over a cup of coffee now and then. Claire was a breath of fresh air--always optimistic, never judgmental, and I will miss her sorely. She brought us to this beautiful piece of property we now own, a legacy in many ways. Even though Claire and I didn't see each other as often as I would have liked, given her busy life, it was comforting to know she was there. I felt as long as Claire was around, so was Joan, in a way. I know how tremendous your loss is, yet it's so wonderful you had this extraordinary person in all of your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dearest Richard,
What can I say to heal the pain you must be feeling at this time? Words are just a vehicle, to let those left behind feel comforted...They don't take the place of you're dearest Claire...When my youngest grandson wondered about "funerials" when his great grandmother died..I told him "Great grandma Jenny is moving into God's neighborhood....she'll have many friends and she'll be happy with baking and cheering on the Cub's...Hopefully you will find some sort of comfort in my thoughts...that is unless Claire was a Sox fan..Anyway...take care and always know Otto & your Mom have already greeted her in the arms of our Lord...and will take care of her...
Rob & I will be at the services tomorrow...
All love Rob & Susie ( Fox )LeClercq
Don sends his thoughts and prayers as well.
