Barwegen, Claire (nee Parise) Age 87. Lockport resident, formerly of Alsip and Roseland. Beloved wife of the late George Barwegen; loving mother and best friend of Cynthia (Tony) Caposey and Nancy (Tom) Lewis; cherished grandmother of Brett (Julie) Lewis and Brooke (Derek) Schmidt; step-grandmother of Joni Caposey; devoted daughter of the late Florence (nee Panozzo) and John Parise; loving sister of Eugene Parise and the late John (Gloria) Parise; sister-in-law of Gloria Parise and the late Margaret Nydam and Richard "Dick" Barwegen. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Longtime member of Calumet Park TOPS, Fernwood Womans Evening Club and owner with her husband of C & G Nursery in Grant Park, IL. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday, August 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday 10:45 a.m. to St. Liborius Church, Steger.
