Christine Sullivan Obituary

Sullivan, Christine Christine Sullivan's body succumbed to pancreatic cancer, but her spirit will always live on. Chris was an avid gardener and enjoyed nurturing plants and people to grow. She served as librarian at Salem Lutheran School in Blue Island and helped stir a lifelong love a reading in many students. She also tended bar at the former Old Barn Restaurant in Burbank for 15 years. In recent years she worked at Menards in Bridgeview, always willing to help people find the things they needed. She is survived by her husband Richard; her 6 children: T. Kay Nagy (Mark), Shirley Arndt (Andy Freeman), Elizabeth Chavez (Raphael), George Arndt (Nicole), Amber Sullivan (Matthew Hess) and Ashlee Sullivan (Brenda Guerrero), sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Memorial Services are today, 3pm at Christ Memorial Church in Blue Island. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family are requested.

To Chris family she will be miss by all her friends that she worked at the Old Barn Resturary I will miss her a lot I love her upside down pineapple cake.

My heart goes out to the entire Sullivan family in this difficult time. Chris was a good friend to work with at the Old Barn Restaurant. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Prayers to the family.
