Christine Doran Obituary

Doran, Christine 54, of Chelsea, Michigan, died at her residence suddenly, Saturday, November 22, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Carlsen (fiancé William Townsend), Maumee, OH; her siblings, Matthew Doran, Hammond, IN, Ilsa (Michael) Richardella, Tinley Park, IL, Cheryl (Kenneth) Garcia, Steger, IL, Corine (Gordie) Laurencell, Frankfort, IL, and her fiancé, Lou Sereno, Chelsea, MI. She was the aunt to Angela, Kevin (Kathryn), Michelle, Laura, Kenneth Jr., Timothy, Gordon, Avery, Emily, Olivia, and Anderson; great-aunt to Kyleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruthanne Doran, and her niece, Allison. Christine was a free spirit. She was a great artist and an amazing published writer. She supported many charities. In May, she was ranked 77 out of 10,000 for the top fundraisers for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Chicago. She, along with her daughter, some of her siblings and nieces, nephews and great-niece, walked in memory of several family members. She spent a lot of her childhood standing at the hip of her Grandmother Avery learning to bake. She was the ultimate baker.
