Chigas, Chris age 69, beloved husband of Roula (nee Lafazanos), loving father of Renee Chigas, Pamela Chigas and Stephanie (Darren Anderson) Chigas, dear brother of Tass (Shirley) Chigas, Georgia (Nick) Demeas, Pete (Antonia) Chigas and Voula (John) Syntentas, brother-in-law of John (Helen) Lafazanos, Dina (Pete) Gianakakos and Popi (George) Fotinopoulos, fond uncle, cousin and godfather of many. Owner of Chris' Coach House, Cary, IL. Member of Amvets Post 245 and host of their annual picnic. Visitation Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Rd., Palatine, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Our love for you will last forever, you will be missed. Arrangements by: John G. Dear Chigas Family,
I want to express my deepest sympathy and love toward you all. In the past 13 years you have welcomed me into your home and hearts. I will always cherish the memory of my first New Years Eve at Chris'Coach House. I remember Stephanie and I laughing and dancing, and Chris doing his annual table dance! With his passing always remember how he celebrated and brought love to you all-with these thoughts he will always be with you.
