Chester Stelmasek Obituary

Stelmasek, Chester J. 73, of North Aurora, formerly of Cicero, died Sunday at his home, he was born June 3, 1929, in Cicero. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy in WWII, he was a member of the Painters Local 97 for 47 years and Business Rep for Painters District Council #30, from 1977 to 1989 and served as Secretary Treasurer from 1989 to 1993. He also was past Master of Amity Lodge #472 in West Chicago from 1984 to 1985. Loving wife of Sharon, dear father of Barbara (Joe) Guetler, James Stelmasek, Jeffrey (Donna) Stelmasek, Lynn (Tim) Shanovich, Laura (David) Swinehart and Brian Bendixon, grandfather of Joe and Andy Guetler, Suzanne, Katie and Pamela Stelmasek, Kyle and Matthew Stelmasek, Claire and Paige Shanovich, brother of Marie Drzewiecki, Lovey Stelmaszyk, Gerry Meisner, Audrey Mangello and the late Virginia Esposito, also uncle to many. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
