Chen Ding Obituary

Ding, Chen Mr. Chen Ding of Oak Park, IL passed away on February 1, 2011. Born in Wuxi, China, he was 91 years old. He was a loving husband and beloved father and grandfather. Mr. Ding received his doctoral in economics from Harvard University. A well respected economist and business executive, Mr. Ding devoted his distinguished career in promoting the cultural and economic understanding, exchange and corporation between the U.S. and China. Mr. Ding is survived by his wife of 61 years, Florence, a son and a daughter and their spouses, and a grandson. Services are private.
