I was shocked to find the notice posted at work at OPPD. It has been a long time since Char worked with us but all of us who were there then clearly remember her still. She was always fun to be around as she always had a smile and lots of laughs. I find it sad that she has left this world so early but none of us can know how much time we have here. Char did manage to make this world better through her wit, charm, and friendliness. She will be missed. I offer my condolences to her family and friends.

I worked with Charmaine several years ago at the Oak Park Police Department, and am saddened to hear that she is gone. I can remember my first day at work, and how she made me feel welcome and at home. Please accept my sympathy on your loss. Brenda Fojtik Executive Secretary, Oak Park Police
