Charlotte Golas Obituary

Charlotte C. Golas of Lowell, active at Holy Trinity Church LOWELL Miss Charlotte C. Golas, a life-long resident of the Belvidere section of the city, died Friday evening, February 20, 2009, at D'Youville Senior Care Center. Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Anthony and Gladys (Biala) Golas, she attended St. Stanislaus School and Lowell High School. She was a life-long communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and was a member of the parish choir for many years. Before retiring, she was a machine operator for many years in the shoe industry, and also at French's Box Company in Lowell. Miss Golas loved crocheting, and reading, as well as spending time with her family. She is survived by a sister, Genevieve Clark and her husband, Charles of Nashua, NH; several nieces and nephews; and two dear friends, Alice Georges and Joan Klepacz, both of Lowell. Miss Golas was the sister of the late Loretta Rygiel, Chester Golas, Helen Dubucznski, Rose Sokolowski, and Stella Salem. GOLAS In Lowell, Feb. 20, at D'Youville Senior Care, Charlotte C. Golas. Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH on at 10 o'clock. Committal Services at St. Patrick Cemetery Chapel. Spring Burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. E-condolence/ directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Funeral Directors James F.
