Charles Ward Obituary

Charles Elbert Ward, a resident of Clinton Twp. for over 35 years, died January 9, 2007, in Select Specialties of St. Joseph Hospital, Mt.Clemens at the age of 78.

Charles was born in Livingston Tennessee on October 06, 1928, a son of the late Herman and Lillian (Pryor) Ward. He was united in marriage to Geneva “Louise” Hoyle on July 24, 1948. He was employed as a welder for the Warren Alloy Co. for over 45 years, retiring in 1990. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed gardening with his wife. Charles was a hard working family man who enjoyed a good meal. He will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his loving children, Carolyn Kieselhorst, Ernest “Butch” (Marion) Ward, Paul Ward, Sharon Trosell and Mary (Glen) Wallace; his sisters, Geraldine England and Lucine (Bill) Davis. He was preceded in death by siblings, Dude, Bob, James, and Harold Ward.

Carolyn, Butch, Paul, Sharon, and Mary,
Uncle Elbert was such a good man. We always looked forward to your visits during the summer when we were all young. He was so good to Grandpa and Grandma. I know he had a hard time taking care of your mom during the last several years, but he wouldn't have wanted it any other way. You all are in our hearts and prayers.
