My sincere condolences to the family of Mr, Taylor! He was a dear friend of my brother, Ede Warner, who made his transition on April 28, 2012. RIP!!

The love of God, and I call him Daddy Taylor, was with him, his wife, and the great Mr. Tyler as i was a social Worker for Micheal Reese. Enjoyed getting Oak Hill on the rising for Daddy. Will miss him Dearly. God Bless

Mr. Taylor was a firm but gentle soul.Everytime I saw him he always had his stern game face on . I use to live on 78 th & Michigan. My condolences to his family. He was a great man

As a second generation cousin of Charles and Lena, I had the opportunity to be around them during some really good times too, particularly when I was younger. I met Trustee Taylor at the Progressive Baptist Church. I had the opportunity of serving at his funeral home on several occasions upon his request. We both served in the military as First Sergeants. Mr. Taylor came to the aid of countless families in communities, churches and T. E. Brown Apartments. We would often talk about his experience as a pilot and owner of his own plane. Our deepest condolences and prayers to his family and staff at the Taylor Funeral Home.

I met Mr. Taylor in Chicago at his funeral home on 79th St., and he hired me to work at his (Very Successful) cemetery Oak Hill Cemetery in Gary, Indiana. Mr. Taylor and His Beloved wife has served hundreds if not Thousands of families in there grief in Chicago and Indiana areas. THANKYOU MR. TAYLOR For Your Service to the USA and Families !

I was heartbroken to hear of this great lost to our family. He was truly loved because of his gentle and loving spirit to us. Yes,
he flew to our rescue anytime we needed his service without excuse or hesitation. He last serviced our brother Cephus Rich here in Michigan. We will truly miss this distinguished gentleman, visionair humanitarian and entrepreneur who was ahead of his time and dared to represent our family with class and dignity. Rest well our love.
